Welcome, welcome! Welcome to our nice little community! In this nice little site, you can come and join, create a character, start to roleplay, and much more. We are planning on having many contests; holiday, special occasions, just because, and everything. There will be games and tournaments and lots of fun stuff to do. We don't have a plot set in place yet, but I have one brewing around in my mind! Good luck on your journey!

 Battling Rules
« Thread Started on Oct 26, 2008, 9:50pm »

In the Old Celtic Region, there was no standard way on how to battle. Well, to make things nice and to make sure everything runs smoothly, Celtic Region II will have a battling system.

First of all, once two people start a role play battle, the opposing people must post their teams status. That means Hp, pp, level, defense items, and such for every pokemon.

While battling, the players have the freedom to choose when they get hit, when they dodge, when they are only scratched, ect.

Wild Pokemon Battle & Normal Trainer You may dodge once per pokemon
Gym Leader Battle; You may dodge three times per pokemon
Legendary Pokemon Battle; You may dodge five times per pokemon

;;Experience System

Wild Pokemon Battle; 1x the level of opposing pokemon
Normal Trainer Battle; 2x the level of opposing pokemon
Gym Leader Battle; 3x the level of opposing pokemon
Legendary Pokemon Battle; 4x the level of opposing pokemon

In occurrences where it takes more than one pokemon to beat one pokemon, the experience will be split up between the pokemon used to overcome said opponent.
For Example;
If it took three pokemon to beat one wild pokemon with a level of 15, normally a pokemon would receive 15 experience points for defeating the opponent. Since three pokemon were used to defeat it, the 15 experience points will be split between three. 15 / 3 = 5. So 5 experience points for each pokemon.

If the dividing comes up and it is a decimal, it will be rounded to the nearest whole number.

;;Hit Points

A pokemons amount of hit points would depend on his or her levels. Take the pokemons level and multiply it times 5 and you get said pokemons amount of hit points.
For Example;
Said pokemon is at level 5. Five times five equals 25 so said pokemon's hit point level would be 25.
